Hey guys,
I have received some messages concerning of age and working out. One of the question was "I'm 40 years old, is it too late for me to get fit?"

Well, my answer will be NO, it's not too late. Now, Give yourself a pat in the back for having a fitness goal in spite of your age. FYI, Your 40s mark the decade when you shift to caring for your body in the gym, instead of punishing it. For ladies, It's important for you to workout because as estrogen levels decline, fat storage settles at the abdomen, which makes more fat circulate closer to the heart and will contribute to heart disease.

Example of Fit celebrity over the age of 40 years old, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Lopez, Hugh Jackman, George Clooney, and many more.

Some of you might says "it's easy for them, they are celebrities , being in great shape after 40 is easy for those with personal chefs and trainers, and time and money to spend on their health, right? In reality, staying healthy as you age takes work, no matter who you are. With the right type of training, you can still build muscle and get strong well into your 40′s, 50′s and beyond.

3 WORKOUT TIPS for 40s and beyond:

1. DO LIGHT WEIGHTS but HIGH REPS - If heavy weights will caused pain to your body, make do with light weights but high reps.

2. EAT MORE - Men in their 40s should try to eat 10 servings of fruit and vegetables daily, they need the antioxidant protection, and it's a proven way to stay lean.

3. EXTRA HELP WON'T HURT - If you don't know the suitable workout for you, you may want to hire a personal trainer to help you with your workout program.
